YPN Denver/CO Front Range

Each month, YouthPartnersNET sponsors a networking luncheon.  Typically we host between 20-30 frontline workers who meet together for networking and sharing of resources at YPN's sponsored lunch in Denver.  We've had over 300 individuals from various local ministries attending to date. Each month we bring in special speakers/trainers to speak or teach on relevant topics.  We encourage attendees to share any of their resources which will encourage our ministry partners.  We provide time for attendees to network as well as to advertise their youth events, fundraising events, share prayer requests and volunteer opportunities.

Denver/CO Front Range Ministry Partner Network Meeting Calendar:

  • We meet the first Tuesday of each month from 11am to 1pm (September to May, excluding January)
  • We are kindly hosted by Confluence Ministries at 1400 Quitman Street, Denver, CO 80204
  • Contact YPN to get on our meeting email list. We will send out reminders to you in advance of each meeting.
  • Contact YPN or call 720-933-5437 to RSVP.
  • In 2011-12 year, we will alternate between catered and brown-bag luncheons and will notify you ahead of time as to which it will be.

Our Denver Network has also developed the reputation of being a great resource for other organizations to promote their local events and resources that benefit our network of ministry partners such as RELOAD Denver by Urban Youth Workers Institute, Dare2Share, Pure by Choice, HeavenFest and programs through the Denver Gang Coalition, Colorado Department of Labor, and Colorado Healthy Marriage Project.

Here are some of the benefits that resulted from the meetings this past year:

  • Mission Increase Foundation continues to provide free monthly workshops for our front-range ministry partners on topics such as strategic planning, capital campaigns, e-fundraising, and direct mail. This past year two additional ministry partners received $40,000 in matching grants through MIF's grant program.
  • Through our relationship with HeavenFest, our front-range ministry partners received 4900 free tickets (value $142,100) to this massive Christian music, worship and arts festival in July. 
  • WAIT Training offered free marriage workshops along with the materials to train the ministry partner's staff (value $300 per ministry with this new faith-based curriculum for youth. 
  • Cross Bar X Youth Ranch in Durango provided their camp and program to our network of ministry partners at a highly discounted rate. 
  • Noah's Ark Colorado Rafting Arkansas River - Noah's Ark Rafting provides free white water rafting excursions for our ministry partner's youth leaders. They also offered discounts on summer adventure camps for inner-city kids including rafting, rock climbing, backpacking.  
  • Denver Area Youth For Christ hosted four front-range college fairs providing inner-city students and their parents with the opportunity to meet representatives from 70 Christian colleges.
  • Straight Street Design offers free website consultation to our Denver ministry partner network.
  • Due to YPN connections free resources like printers, office supplies, children's clothes, bibles, books, t-shirts, travel bags, and sports tickets are distributed at every meeting.

Denver Area Resources

Straight Street Design specializes in web design, search engine strategies, and social media for both businesses and non-profits. As YPN's web designer, SSD has given us the ability to manage our own website, saving us time and money. Straight Street Design offers free website consultation to our ministry partner network.

AGE Sandoval has started a new Denver Hip Hop church - Tha MYX International. They meet each Tuesday night at 1230 Decatur Street. The doors open at 6pm, services start at 7pm. A bus goes out to four locations to bring in families. Take the time to view a map and download the PDF with times and bus pickup locations. Check out their new Sunday morning service.

Mission Increase Foundation provides free monthly seminars for non-profits in the Denver and Colorado Springs areas each month, and they also provide funding. To read more, or to sign up for their upcoming seminars, visit their website.

Open Fairways is dedicated to improving the lives of at-risk and underprivileged children through the game of golf.

Inner City Health Center, located at 3405 Downing Street, 303-296-1767 provides Adult Medical Care, Prenatal Services, Pediatrics, Dental Services and Counseling. Patients are charged on a sliding fee basis, depending on their income.

Scott Barth is a Business Coach with Action International and has provided great tools and info for our Denver network.

Noah's Ark provides rafting trips for youth leaders in Colorado, as well as providing something fun to do with their kids.

Straight Line Action Sports Camp provides mentoring and tutoring while teaching skating during the summer.
